My opinion and a fact is that the Los Angeles Clippers are the team of Los Angeles. It is true they have not brought a title to Los Angeles but they play hard day in and day out. I’m pretty sure they have the chance to be the #3 team in the NBA. Vinny Del Negro is doing great with the team he has. His bench is great. They pass the ball better than the Lakers’ starters. The Laker team last year had all the potential of going to the finals but with “team” player Kobe Bryant is they, well u know the outcome. The Clippers have my respect to be the throne of Los Angeles professional basketball. If the Lakers want any shot of the title they should bring Phil Jackson back and get rid of Mike D’ Antoni. AND/OR bench Kobe Bryant the rest of the season.
I hope Jerry Jones decides to fire Jason Garrett, he is obviously the reason why the cowboys lost the season. He, this year looked like D’Antoni of the Los Angeles Lakers
MOBILE, Ala. (AP) – Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that coach Jason Garrett may give up play-calling duties on offense.
Speaking to reporters at Senior Bowl practices, Jones said offensive line coach Bill Callahan could inherit play-calling duties, but stopped short of saying a decision had been made.
Garrett kept calling plays after he was promoted from offensive coordinator to head coach when Wade Phillips was fired during the 2010 season.
Garrett told The Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star-Telegram he would welcome a switch and would be comfortable with Callahan in that role.
The Cowboys have shuffled the coaching staff after consecutive 8-8 seasons. New defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin replaced Rob Ryan, who was fired. Five other coaches have left the staff, including Garrett’s brother, tight ends coach John Garrett.
Jason Garrett has been criticized for poor decisions with game and clock management, sparking debate over…

I don’t think the discussion should be solely on the Lakers as a team but the ownership on the Los Angeles Lakers. Kupchack and Jim Buss should get their head out their ass and hire Phil because D’Antoni’s system will never work in the LAKERS organization. If I had to grade the Lakers I would give Kobe an F because he takes more shots and make less than almost the whole team combined. Have you seen his stats this year and last year. It’s no wonder why, Bynum wanted out even though he was immature. I would never consider Kobe one of the greatest Laker. I would consider him the most selfish professional NBA player to play.
To the surprise of no one, the Lakers lost yet another game. This time they fell victim to the Memphis Grizzlies, losing 106-93. Dwight Howard left the game when he apparently re-aggravated the injury in his shoulder that kept him out one week. Instead of harping on how pathetic, disinterested, and disappointing the Lakers are, which has become a staple of this blog, lets take a look at all the key members of this Lakers organization and give them a grade.
Kobe Bryant: B
Kobe has easily been the best, most consistent player the Lakers have had this season. Kobe is scoring at an efficient level, shooting above his career FG and 3PT % marks. As a leader, Kobe has fallen short. He hasn’t had the ability to rally this team and play with some heart, which all great leaders are capable of. This team isn’t lacking the talent to compete…

who really thought this was going to work knowing the coach is straight offense and no defense. actually he obviously could not even coach both. I think there were politics involved with not hiring Phil Jackson.
The Lakers lost again on the road to the Memphis Grizzlies 106-93. A lot can be said by that score. The style that head coach Mike D’Antoni wants to play is this up tempo free flowing style that does not put a ton of emphasis on defense, which in theory would mean that the Lakers would be winning a lot of games in the 110 to the 115 point range. That has not been the case. Since the start of the year the Lakers have played 12 games and have been over the 105 points 4 times and their record was 2-10.
I would be the 1st to say,” I was wrong!” Wrong in thinking that D’Antoni that could work with the roster he has inherited. I thought that it was not worth it to sign Phil Jackson for maybe 2 year run and the amount of money it…

#CountOnKobe – should say count on kobe to shoot 40% a game
